2024 Bookmark Art Contest

Earlier this summer we ran a Bookmark Art Contest, asking young artists for their creative ideas and beautiful artwork for some soon to be printed Friends of the Puyallup Library bookmarks. We were STUNNED by the amount of participants and the incredible designs! There were three age categories and we one winner from each age group. We are excited to be featuring the art from the finalists and the winners in one of the hall displays this month.

We want each young artist to be able to see their work displayed, so we also have most of the entries currently hung up on the walls near the children's section at the library! Come check them out!

Hello Friends!

For the past 22 years, the Friends of the Puyallup Library has existed to raise money to fund programming at the Puyallup Public Library. We are a small but dedicated group of volunteers managing book donations and book store sales, annual membership drives, and budget stewardship. Early in 2024 we launched this website, and we are excited to continue to add more content and feature more stories about the wonderful programming that our members support. Happy reading Puyallup!
