ABOUT US
Friends of the Puyallup Public Library is dedicated to supporting the Puyallup Public Library's mission to provide quality and innovative library services to all community members. Our fundraising efforts go towards supporting the library's programming and services, including the Summer Reading Program. We are proud to be a part of the Puyallup community and to support the library's important role in promoting literacy and lifelong learning.
As a non-profit organization, Friends of the Puyallup Public Library relies on the generosity of our members, book sales, and our bookstore to continue supporting the library. We welcome anyone who shares our passion for the library to join us in our mission and make a difference in our community.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Kathy Warren
Career: Social services
Volunteer since 2012
Favorite book: Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus and Johnny’s Girl by Kim Rich
Favorite FOL memory: My favorite memories are always those that come with interacting with people. I have had the absolute enjoyment of working with supportive library directors (all four of them), staff who never fail to help in any way they can, and a Board that works in harmony, and I’m not kidding! But, to help a patron find a book or just shoot the breeze for a few minutes…that’s the best. That’s really why I’m here.
